Changing Memories

Changing Memories

A Poem by Little Abbey
"

Pondering

"
I remember flying around.
Up in the sky,
Up in the world.
That's when I felt the rain cold from the clouds.

I remember the way dreams would twist.
Through the pictures,
Through the music.
And turn everything in to this.

I remember the way the wind would sing.
Notes so beautiful,
Words so deep.
I'd be taken under meditation's warm wing.

Everything is changing.
Some good,
Some bad.
Life's many pieces always need arranging.

But I'm ready for this.
Ready for change,
Ready for a fresh start.
Thankfully I have you to hold my heart.

I love the way that you describe the cold rain while flying through the clouds.
And, yes, change (whether good or bad) is always better when you have someone special to experience it with. Great read.

I like that last stanza a lot. Most people hate change, I know I do so its always good to embrace it with hope. A nice write. Thanks.
