Looking across the room, 

I can see you looking at me too.

We can't deny the bond we've made...

But the next step... 

We're both too nervous to take.

We're both so silly.

But we're both so shy...

So I'm not sure why it's so hard,

To really look you in the eye.

You've got to love those moments we share,

Sitting together at lunch, 

With our feet on the same chair.

It's so naive,

But at the same time so mature...

There's no way to explain it,

But we both understand it,

We're both quite sure.

Just go ahead and ask me,

You know I'll say yes...

Even if you don't know...

It can't be hard to guess.

Something like this can only grow.

So I'll be waiting,

For the moment you're ready.

I'll support you with a smile,

When you're words go unsteady.

Because, yes, I want to date you too. :)

I didn't see anything wrong with the grammar, then again I was so drawn in by this piece I really didn't pay attention to the grammar. Anyway, this was very well-written. The flow was spot-on and I really enjoyed it. Definitely brought me back to emotions I had in the past in a similar situation to the one you just described here. Well done!
