Blank PageA Poem by Samantha Guerin
Blank Page You are my constant Disappointment. Begging to be filled You lay there, Empty. I am drawn to you, Inexplicably; Infatuated. Soon I cannot resist. I fold, Pick up a pen. You become dazzling, Overflowing with gems, And you become mine. But now I don’t want you, You are bloated, And familiar; Lacking excitement. So now I am finished. I cast you aside, Move on to the next siren Who calls to me. For now, rest in the thought That I will return. But only to change you, It is I who completes you. © 2009 Samantha GuerinReviews
