Into the Dark

Inspired by the song :)

 

Over sand and earth we have traveled,

Through lakes and rivers we have swam,

On sunrises and sunsets we have lingered

Through our differences, still we stand.

But soon a time will come, my love

When  our minds and bodies fail.

No longer will we carry on,

Our sun will seem to pale.

If you should weaken first, my dear

And if death should leave his mark

Rest well in knowing that I am near,

I will follow you,

Into the dark.
