ClariceA Poem by L.A. CareyA meaningful name
Clarice is your name
Though it is not really But you always seemed Clarice to me When I think of Clarice I think of the Springtime Of wine-colored lips And no waning of smiles Clarice is a name not given to many It denotes wind chimes And tinkling bells I believe Clarice is a hidden gem A ripened fruit on a branch too high She wrinkles her nose At the cares of the world Clarice cries to heaven To make Earth more heavenly She bows her head to honor the brave Though her head is held high Through her bold declarations Clarice is a beauty And a natural love Thank you, Clarice You are too aptly named © 2017 L.A.
