Past, Future & Present

You can change the past in the present to create the future.

Love is a tricky thing,

It can pull you down or raise you up,

You can find a pauper or maybe a king,

Or maybe it'll be precious like a chalice cup,

Pain may come and pain may go,

But how you react is what will make the outcome,

All the stress and fights can grow like bad seeds you sow,

Or the peace and trust can make it grow like a prosperous kingdom,

You and only you can change the way it will be,

By being a better person for you and them,

Can show you the path you want to see,

And will grow and support like a flower's stem,

Love is a tricky emotion,

But one that is meant to last,

You just have to set up the right motion,

To make it something not of the past,

But the future and the present,
