Her Worldly Fight

It is hard for some to find light when surrounded by darkness.. for one special to me this a daily battle... I will always be there!

Someone very special to me is caught;

between a choice.. the darkness and the light.

Which world she will decide to choose;

she's now an adult with Her Worldly Fight.

 

I know I can not make that choice for her;

but I will always be there until the end.

Trying my best always waiting on the side;

with only tender love do I send.

 

I will love her no matter what the price;

this young struggling angel so very dear.

If she makes me stand at the gates of hell;

I stand waiting with god without evil's fear.

 

Love surrounds all I believe it will always win;

the goodness within me will always prevail.

Promoting truth and peace for a much better life;

waiting for this one to set her life's sail.

 

She does not share all my life's beliefs;

it's okay she's truly a person so rare and unique.

I'm writing this for her so she knows my heart;

finding light in the dark is not being weak.

 

If you go out at night you'll find that it's dark;

but many stars and a bright moon light's the way.

I can not push this on you but simply be here;

In a community that for all surely does pray.
