The Shattered MirrorA Poem by Color of the Iris
Honey, it's all of your lies
That know they only symbolize The shattered mirror of your a million reflections It's the face you always make After you make the same mistake And I'm tired of bleeding just to mend you again Beautiful while you suffer Like the face of choking others Full of fear, they scream silently again for help I know you stole my ghost For my soul is missing a host And my shadow soul mate's missing from my side Just so you know, after me And after you there will always be Someone to understand the definition of my pain And as I give in to death's hold I won't try to fear, because I know This won't be the end, nor the beginning ever again © 2011 Color of the IrisAuthor's Note
