Before We're DeadA Poem by Color of the Iris
Love, you should calm down
Must we run another mile? I think we’ve lost them I know they won’t find us now We are no longer held captives We have all our liberties To love and bond with all And to fear and hate all who’ve hurt us Yes, we murdered our leader Stabbed him in his back Choked him with our pain And made him drink our poison of lies Now, we run with a bounty on our heads And power coursing through our veins Hope keeping our hearts pounding Our mind set on finding home before we’re dead © 2011 Color of the IrisAuthor's Note
