Silly Girl ~A Poem by Color of the Iris
Silly girl, with dreams so bright
I'm sorry we were never meant to collide Just to cry out in desperateness We hope and fear of that goodbye Silly poet, who were you to think you could write? No more shall you waste your words On things no one else will ever understand And on things that are never heard Silly life, with an innocence so sweet Did you think you would be happy forever? No more sweet than the blood of rotten meat Or this world and it's corpse's endeavor Silly world, the end is finally here And now you sit alone in your chair Waiting and waiting for the end of time To come and relieve us all from despair Silly girl, would you please wake up? Your world is slowly collapsing from the inside No more time to turn away No more time to scream as your world slowly dies © 2012 Color of the IrisAuthor's Note
