I can't believe the things I said
I just long to take it back instead
I never meant to hurt you, love
Forgive me, I can't help being dead

In this empty shadow Nirvana
They place their burdens upon us
And expect us to live so happy
In this broken realm of drama

Trust me, I know you're hurting

One day, we'll run together, escape
When everything's on the line to forsake

A blinding light leaves us as we dreamscape.

Author's Note

Some would like to say I've lost my touch, but I'd like to differ. No one ever truly loses their talents, in which they love, they merely grow or diminish, and I feel like I have grown more than I have fallen away from writing. We have our moments when our writing is at it's best and then moments when the words are thoughtless... careless... meaningless. But for those to think I've lost my strength through writing, I shame you, for happiness found through a talent such as writing is never forsaken.

I love the truth in your words, and I can't imagine that changes. Maybe some think that you've lost your touch, but if you brought the same thing again and again, you wouldn't grow and nurture your talent. The words here don't feel manufactured or fake and that's what I like the most.
