Ghost Envy

Ghost Envy

A Poem by Lisa Trossarello
"

A cinquain is a 5 line poem with 22 syllables. The pattern is 2-4-6-8-2 for the lines. Cinquains are always titled, which effectively gives you a sixth line in which to convey your message. This poetic form was invented by Adelaide Crapsey.

"

Your urn

On the mantle

Does not seem to hold you.

How I wish I could say I was

Haunted.
