ManA Poem by LisaEveThe lovers chase. Let not another pull asunder an undercover embrace sucked in by prosthetic prospects Solitary confinement finds no solace in false promises but only balls and a chain. Bridal chambers await you but so does an assailant with his name on a bullet to fool you. Soon lured to a grave. Who knew the union would ruin you all over again? The crucial moment when love takes ownership over the logic of the brain until you stop making excuses for yet another game. Take your head out of the sand like when you fled from my hourglass after you let it slip from your hand. Time typecasts the minutes like those I now scribble secondhand. Darts display a work of art that my heart can no longer withstand. Arrows from an archer that mask just another man. © 2012 LisaEveReviews
