The Message

The Message

A Poem by LisaEve

You can severe my vocal chord and hope that you aborted the portal but your thoughts never absorb that it’s the message itself that’s immortal.
The truth cant be thwarted, tethered by fetters in cells, instead it’s recorded in the belly of hell and transported to an assortment of openly adorned doors to the aorta.

OK... I like the gritty ending and the point being nailed down with conviction. Refering to the heart in it's more clinical terms is also an organic concept and makes the peotry feel more literal and real rather than fantasy and philosophy. Well done.

About
I'm not a poet. I just like writing down my thoughts in a way that rhymes. It's my way of bringing order to what I feel and think instead of blurting out chaotic emotion for the sake of being heard, .. more..
