The Fathers FavourA Poem by LisaEveThe 'apparel' in this poem is taken from the story of Joseph in the bible and the symbols that represent the favour of God on his life.
Fashioned by incisions visiting missionary realms, lathers of coloured apparel symbolic of a spiritual parallel.
But it took only a minute, a quick risk and I fell, jealousy will sell you out and that’s fact, not parable. I wished that this spell would lift off my femininity and catapult me from hell, Ishmaelite saviours that were simply vandals. Envisioned, the kings fingers slipped into my grip, he whispers “I’ll pick you up from where you slipped my beautiful belle, come away with me, I’ve missed you and have many secrets to tell”. I reign like a filly that’s galloped from the corral, can’t kill the strict discipline but I can paint a new picture with pretty pastels. My heart felt the stroke as the blood flow expands, invoking emotion unlike that of a man where I rest in this presence and don’t fret the command. Held my hourglass intimate and time stopped in his hands, the clock watched every minute now isn’t so finite but filled with His infinite plan. © 2012 LisaEveReviews

It's my way of bringing order to what I feel and think instead of blurting out chaotic emotion for the sake of being heard, .. more..Writing
