The Devils Snare

The Devils Snare

A Poem by Anon

His severed head layed on a pike

the Devils glare glows in the night

the tortured kids that have future

my life is empty and my heart has gone.

I watch the people, that die in pain

their liquid flowed into my mouth

the salty blood fills my vains

to which brings me power.

The Devils Snare draws me closer

to which i should ignore

the pull brings me piece of mind

so when i die i long to be.....

I Long to be, Satans avenger

killing all in sight, slashing breaking

and the pleasure of the pleading children

the beg for mercy as i slash at their throats.

Till that day i shall wait in the shadows of the Devils Snare.

I like it, but as a past practicing Satanist who also got to meet and talk with Anton LaVey when I was younger while belonging to his church, I was surprised to see that you may think Satanists would harm their own children ...or even other's children. There are those who know of witches and then there are those who know of Wiccans. Being that, those who know of Wiccans understand the dynamics and importance of the responsibility in such religion and not the Hollywood version of it that is skewed and destructive. I think if you take out all the commas, you have a really good poem here that is both fun to read and also to take a trip and get lost inside of..... xoxo -Mark
