Endagered Species

Endagered Species

A Poem by Lisa Crump

Endangered Species

The children are dying

Their parents are crying

The perpetrators are denying

And somebody's lying

In the midst of all of the deceit and lying

I wonder, Is anyone actually trying

to keep the innocent children from dying

As I type this, The government is vying

to eliminate those who are actually trying

to end the lying, and save the children from dying.

A free for all people divorcin it, and so freely pro choicin it

The younger the person the worse the crime they commit

Unfortunately no one is willing to admit

Or embark on methods that are truly legit

We're More concerned about the political parties we're with

But is their anyone fed up with the the fantasies, and the myths?

We're all fair game

So different from 50 years ago, yet still the same

The hatred is becoming harder and harder to tame

Many talk but no actions seeking change

Endangered species but that’s not what we see

People dropping like flies, and we view it normally

The love ones eventually go on inevitably

But it shouldn’t be because of killing relentlessly

We are endangered species.......
