I'm Ms., I'm Mr.

I'm Ms., I'm Mr.

A Poem by Lisa Crump

I'm Ms., I'm Mr.

I'm Ms.

I'm Ms. shoulda coulda woulda

When they look back they always wish they woulda

done everything they possibly coulda

to keep her if they coulda.

I'm Ms. so many regrets

They can't every forget

Her, She just seems to be better than the rest

Comparing her and contrasting to the next

I'm Ms., if I could just have her in my life again I would do better

I'd just sustain all of that stormy weather

And leaving....I never woulda let her.

Praying to go back to the day I met her.

I'm Mr.

I'm Mr... leave them filled with resentment

Destroy in her every ounce of contentment

Comfortable now, yet in the beginning I was so persistent

All because...supposedly I'm too afraid of commitment

I'm Mr.....I want her soon, just don't know when

Just go with the flow, make it a win win

On a scale of 1-10, her love is an easy ten

Me, I'm just not ready to begin again

I'm Mr....The love she has for me is greater than, her and me

As long as I keep feeding her the dream, I'm certain she'll believe

What can I say, I just don't wear my heart on my sleeve

I have time, so I'll give it to her eventually because I know she'll never leave

I think
