Lost.

Lost.

A Poem by LiquidWonderland

Who do you think I am?
Don't you know I'm not a savior?
My flesh peels like yours..
My blood drips, swirls, and dries like yours.
I'm not your God
So why...
Why when everything in life is bad
You crawl to me
With your prayers, and belief
Your faith in me
Your willingness to believe I'll save you
I can't change your life....
None of your lives
But day after day
You all find your way to me
Broken and scared
In a way, I suppose I do heal
But it's only temporary
I am your God
I am your savior
Tomorrow the dawn will emerge
And the sun will dry your pain
So all that's left is the hollow shell of a man
Tomorrow is a long ways away....

Interesting, powerful, open to interpretation, brief but strong images, very emotion-tapping....good write.

I love this poem, and I love your style. I can actually connect to this poem because I feel like that sometimes. Awesome job!

[I'm am your God] You should adjust this line, doesn't make sense. Beyond that, fairly enjoyable. I don't really like the randomness of the rhyme scheme, but whatever, good job.
