Corruption

A world full of corruption

As I sit by this window,
I watch the world outside.
I see nothing but darkness,
So therefore you lied.

Open my eyes,
Is that what you say?
Behold the truth,
For it comes out today.

A world consumed by corruption,
With greed at it's core.
Where we beg to be helped
But are always ignored.

The dragon flies free
In all of your spirits
Are you really that blind
Can you also not hear it?

Stay blind in your days
As darkness consumes
To you nothing will falter
Or so you assume.

Good luck in this life
This darkness you've created
Just like the one
That was taught to be hated.
