Forget it!

Forget it!

A Poem by Beth Lindsay
"

Love hurts. At times, I simply hate love. And other times I am certain love hates me.

"

I was right

Why bother?

Love is overrated anyways

Why should I continue sitting

And crying

I was right

There really is no point

I may not want to die alone

But I don’t want to die with someone

            I can’t love

I was right

I lost my chances

I lost majority of my hope

I lost my mind

I was right

I might as well forget about love

It long since forgot about me

And like the dream said

“Looks like you’re going to be miserable,

Because I will never love you

Never, ever, again.”
