Time ticks away

Time ticks away

A Poem by Beth Lindsay

Time ticks away
Daylight descends beyond the horizon
the born cries out
while the dead sleeps in their beds
Time ticks away
while you laze around inside
on a sunny day
Time ticks away
Only to find the following
rainy and cloudy
Time ticks away
It seems to go on and on
and you wish it would be over
but once it is over
you wish you had more time

We must use the time we have for trying to accomplish things that truly matter, not to worry about irrelevant stuff.
I enjoyed this poem, well done.

The poem tell a true story. Time is our most valuable access. A wise person find time for the good things in a life. Or wished he did. A strong ending to a outstanding poem.
