DeathA Poem by Beth LindsayThe major questionsDeath what lies beyond its boundaries? is it a fiery pit of chaos and torment? or is it a warm light beyond the clouds? or is it simply a lonely world of pure darkness? Death is it an entity? with incomprehensible powers with just one touch decides who live and who dies Death is it a force? one that we can not challenge a law of nature that shows no mercy Death is it truly the end or just another world one that we can not enter in flesh like our hearts wishes and longs for with past relatives and old friends Death many fear it for it is an uncertain ending a world that we can’t enter an entity we can not study a force we can not explain Death whoever or whatever it is truly is the most powerful in this world the most mysterious ruler neither good nor bad© 2015 Beth LindsayAuthor's Note
