If Man can Reach the MoonA Poem by LindsayLook to warm eyes A golden ocean between us. Clouds past futures And spares none but now. Paints velvet canvases Replacing shackled dreams With those un-tethered. More truthful Yet transcend reality. To a place self-actualized. Not recognized. A world sensed, Through Midas eyes. Follow on to rays of sun Licking frostbitten doubts away. Hesitant to trust we are. But remember If man can reach the moon, We can love. © 2010 LindsayReviews
