If Man can Reach the Moon

If Man can Reach the Moon

A Poem by Lindsay

Look to warm eyes

A golden ocean between us.

Clouds past futures

And spares none but now.

Paints velvet canvases

Replacing shackled dreams

With those un-tethered.

More truthful

Yet transcend reality.

To a place self-actualized.

Not recognized.

A world sensed,

Through Midas eyes.

Follow on to rays of sun

Licking frostbitten doubts away.

Hesitant to trust we are.

But remember

If man can reach the moon,

We can love.

I like the way you have captured hope and goals and made the measurement of if doing that then why not love? A very nice piece.
