The hurtful Dream

A/N: This is my first Wedges Romance and First Fan Fiction story, Takes place after Wendy Leaves, and Hodges almost drowns Henry. Tell me what you think. Hodges/Wendy Romance! R&R

Henry and Hodges are in the Locker room talking, when Wendy walks in and faces Hodges. Henry faces her, then Hodges turns to face her. "Uh...I'll load up and meet you up front." Henry says as he closes his locker and rushes out of the room

"Is this the talk later part?"

"Yeah."

'Is it about Henry?"

"No."

Hodges let out a sigh before asking her another question, "Is it about me?"

"It's about you and me."

Hodges lets out another sigh, and Wendy begins speaking, "I got a new job." she smiles

"That's great," He chuckles before continuing, "What,they gonna send you in the field or?"

"It's in Portland with my sister." Wendy looks at Hodges and then chuckles before finishing, "Not in Spokane with my niece, and i get to be a Field Mouse...Not a Lab Rat."

"Wow." He says while chuckling nervously, "Congratulations."

"Thank you."

"Does anyone else know about this?" Hodges says as his voice breaks

"Um, yeah, Catherine was nice enough to make a couple phone calls for me and um..Henry he gave me some advice...I'm leaving Hodges."

Hodges folds his arms across his chest, "And I'm the last to know."

"Yeah, your the last to know, Because i wanted it that way, Because i knew that if i told you sooner you would get really upset, then you'd blame Henry and you'd try to get me to stay...and i can't."

"Wendy..." Hodges says as Wendy runs toward him then hugs him

A couple minutes pass, and Wendy breaks the hug and pushes him away. "Goodbye." She says as she heads for the door.

"D--Don't." Hodges says as he watches Wendy walk out of the Locker room.

Hodges was awaken by the sound of  his cell phone vibrating on his coffee table, once his eyes adjusted to the light, he realized he was in his Living room. He reached for his phone without bothering to look at the Caller ID he answered right away.

"Yeah?"

"Hodges, where the hell are you? You were suppose to be here an hour ago." Nick said over the phone

"Be where?"

"Work. Hodges, you have work." Nick said over the phone

"Yeah, I'll be there in a while." He said hanging up his phone

He tossed his phone back on the coffee table, then headed straight to his room where he changed his clothes and looked at his reflection in the bathroom mirror. You look horrible.

One he arrives at the Lab, he walks in to see Greg running Evidence. Greg turns to look at him, while he is placing evidence in a bag.

"Hodges, where have you been?" Greg asks

"Home, Deciding on ways to commit suicide."

"Well, it appears you gave that up." Greg says as he smiles

"No, i was called in to go to work."

"You know you need to go out have fun." Greg says as he leans up against the counter

"You should really shut up."  replied Hodges as Henry walked in, he then noticed Hodges and made sure there was a little bit of distance near Hodges and him.

"Greg, You should listen or just make sure that there is no water near you." Henry said while starring at Hodges

"Why?" Greg asks as he Chuckles

"He tried to kill me." Henry says while handing Greg a file

Greg looks down at the file, he quickly glances at Hodges then faces Henry. "Are you sure about this?" He asks

"Yeah, went over it twice." Henry says while moving closer to Greg

Greg heads for the door quickly passing both Hodges and Henry. He was standing by the door when he turns around and looks at Hodges. "Figure, this out. Before Catherine get's involves." He turns back to the door and walks out.

Henry looks at Hodges, then heads for the door, but was quickly stopped when Hodges was saying his name. "Wait, Let me get a C.S.I. in here to protect me."

"Henry."

Henry looks at Hodges, then walks by the counter and Leans his arm on it. "What?" He asks with an attitude

Hodges takes a deep breath, he walks to the door and closes it. One he was facing Henry, he sighs and shoves his hand in his pocket.

"If your planing on killing me, at least let me say goodbye to some people." Henry says

"Greg, is right. We do need to figure this out, what I did wasn't right. Drowning you wasn't the answer. Finding out that Wendy was leaving and that you knew for months, made me feel that I don't have any connection with Wendy. You were right, when you said she can't talk to me."

"Hodges, Calm down. Breath." Henry says as he looks at Hodges

"I...uh..." He chuckles,  "I talk allot when I get nervous and emotionally."

"You talk to much when you get nervous." Henry said in a sarcastic voice, "Hodges, you talk allot no matter what."

 

"Yeah, i guess i do."

 

"Hodges, Greg is right, you need to get out and do something. Staying in your house 24/7 isn't going to help you get any better. Emotions are hard to fight with, but you will get over them." Henry says as he places a hand on Hodges shoulder.
