An Open can of worms......

An Open can of worms......

In the quiet of a raging storm,

When the very heavens wrath awaits, Listens and longs for you,

Then with your eyes tightly closed as usual
You will see,

All that you want too see,
But you wont see me!

In the solace of your own mediocrity
You will call, Dogs will howl and children scream,
But never will a tree shudder and fall silently for you or me!

Now arise, please open those eyes, Look deep down inside my mind

Will you now judge me?
Forever in your contempt,
Looking down on my seeming inequity, As the black leaves of wasted education crash,

Lie with me, Die with me, Never will you hold me,

Feel now if you may, the open can that resides in side a heart that has never pulsated

Try and open those unseeing crimson blasphemous eyes!

And realise that you are not me!

strong imagery...equally strong voice...one of your better writes for sure :) I see that Serah has already found you...she has a keen eye...really mate...the other site is pitiful...filled with the antithesis of what you need to grow in literature...the artists that could have helped any aspiring writer have mostly been driven away...not only is this place a safe haven for writers but is ideal for both growth and opportunity...welcome...i love the dramatic flavour of this write...
