Between you and I

Between you and I

A Poem by Avoiry

As we stand in this space
lets remain as you and i
as me i am fine
as she i am well
as her i am complacent
as us i am numb

So as we stand as you and i
you may remain as you
or if you prefer i can call you sir
and him or he will be just as perfect
but lets avoid becoming a we
as i and you are doing just fine
as long as we remain between the brackets of you and me

There is one i
but you or he may be different
as he is not you
and him isn't even a face you know
if you and you met
it would be uneasy
but as i remain i
all of you
will remain silent

everything is fine
without us
