You see revolution

You see revolution

A Poem by Avoiry

you see revolution
i see walls

lining plantations and plateau's where we tread
freedom for a price or the price of freedom

You say you have found innocence

in the eyes of children
laying down dirt ridden streets
bile , infestation

You say you have found god
on your street corner salvation
the face of the messiah

printed and pressed on copper atonement
and you claim to have found fortune

 you call this revolution

i call this resolution to none
resolution to try

 revolution to die

as death has never been one
for slim pickings

and we are oh so fickle
