Happy Birthday Savior

Happy Birthday Savior

A Poem by Avoiry

Bells chime

For god

On Christmas day

Our non existent savior

Oh how we blindly adored you

Halleluiah, you are dead

You were but a ripple in time

And we are the X generation

Corrupt and chemical grown

Toxic kids

Regulated by white candies

To primitive to function if left on their own

Children murder children

While young boys serve men

Mothers shooting up on the front porch

Men beat women

Lawyers lying for pieces of green paper

Rapist’s in the supermarket on aisle nine

A generation in turmoil

Awakened to the bitter truth

We are very much alone

Halleluiah, where are you savior

Blinded to all that is wrong

Your children are dying

But you are already dead…

Happy birthday to you
