The Man In The Window

The Man In The Window

A Poem by Avoiry
"

Just thinking about an interaction with someone i know with glasses.

"
To the man with the windows for eyes...
I see you
And I know your reluctance as I sneak my peeks inside
Hoping that you never catch me
Looking through

To the man inside the window...
Sorry, that I stare
But your watching me too!
I just never catch you....
Through that single blind glass

To the windows that separate...
I wish you misfortune
And protest for your removal
You have moments of retreat
But the minute you reappear

I can't see him anymore...

Yeah...I kinda hate my glasses at times. I do like this poem you have written though. The eyes are the windows to the soul, as they say. Cheers and keep up the good work

I like it! Simple yet a complex meaning.
