From God to You

From God to You

A Poem by Avoiry

No you don’t know..

How could it be expected for the us to know about the them

Absurd, is it not?

This theory of existing beyond existence

This thought of being more then the mold that made us

And yet we are rude enough to think we did it all…

We did it all…

I did it all…

To think that a man would sit on a perch for thousands of years of quiet observation playing a hand in every generation or three. Yes, they claim it to be me that cleanses the sick and ripens the wine, but why would I waste time with the mundane. I snap my fingers and they see flames but it is not , it is worlds beyond the ability of their eyes. I once walked upon the water and left my foot prints in the sand, but for every print came the wind and like your minuscule world they were forgotten. I needed practice and that’s what you were , is there nothing wrong with a prototype , even when it comes to the godly perfection that I can make?

I remembered you today in passing as the world that appeared looked similar to yours as I sat upon a universal throne. You were so small and frail and cute in all your ways, with your thoughts on the devil and good and evil. Such big idea’s for little people, and yet you thought them all. I had made you and glanced before walking away , that’s why those foot prints appeared in the sand that day. It was an echo of where I had once been.

I cannot stay forever or emphasize the wrongs of what you have made of me. I created you and in a way you created me to , but not as I am but as I exist in your mind. I am not a god, there are many wrongs I have done, so I would prefer if you dropped the name and notion and in time I will tell you a name for me. I do not regret leaving you but there are many that have been left behind, one world at a time. One universe in a second , now you see it and now you don’t. This was never meant to be an apology, as I have done nothing wrong but in your imaginations you have done me a great injustice but I will see you again as you phase from existing to none. No heaven or hell await but I will see you for the passing second of a memory and honor the work I have done.

I think it strange you believe you can find me

I was never lost

And neither were you

The roads will always break and bend

In the end my name will ring your ears

As suffering ends and nothing begins

‘Shangri La”
