Raining Tears

Raining Tears

A Poem by Lindsey

….splash….splash….splash….

The rains running water explodes under her feet.

Running through the rivers of her own tears,

The water surrounds her soul.

Consuming her being in the cool of raining tears.

She runs away, trying to escape the pain.

….splash….splash….splash….

Trying not to give up the futile fight,

She’s swept away in the rushing currents of her own pain.

Finally drowning in her hidden sorrows,

The river runs red with the ending of her pain,

The final rain her tears will ever create.

Very sad in a Splash Splash Splash sort of way, the way rain drops echo tears that silently fall where no one hears......
