Death's Alleyways

Death's Alleyways

A Poem by Lindsey

I wake in the morning,
And feel a deep ache,
Surrounding my heart,
And making me shake.
Dragged through the day,
I hide it away,
I keep it at bay,
So I seem okay.
I get back to bed,
And lay down my head,
Hiding with dread,
The pain in my head.
Lying I'm okay,
I fear I will stray,
Back to old days,
Of death's alleyways.

Though a sad subject you made it flow with rhyme.
There is much to admire in your poetry, I truely enjoyed :O)

Simple but truly wonderful.
To make such things happen, it needs a lot of talent.
Your creation had an amazing flow.
The words were fantastic!
just got wrapped at my tongue.
great job!
