He Loves Her....

He Loves Her....

A Poem by Lindsey

He loves her....

He used to love me,

He loved me every second of every day.

I loved him back....

We met simple as can be.

We became friends,

I started feeling something more for him,

I told him, and he said he felt it too.

We were happy.

Though we could tell no one.

I fell in love with him,

I could not stand a moment away from him,

He felt this for me aswell,

Or so he said....

I did not see him for so long,

Because of new school.

I was happy, so happy to see him,

But I had changed.

He told me he wanted the old me,

But I couldent do that.

I was already had scars, but he used to fix them.

He gave up, without even trying

Not a single attempt to love the new me.

He gave up, just like that,

He did not want a changed me.

Then he found her,

She is me,

The old me.

She is what I was without the scars.

She is what I was with so much more.

Now he loves her,

And I am all alone,

Sitting in the dark.

I feel as though,

I won't ever love again.

He dosen't know what he meant to me,

He never will now....

Now every night,

As I cry to myself,

Lie to myself,

I get 16 new scars,

Every..Single..Night..

I cry myself to sleep,

Night after night,

I pray that maby, just maby,

I won't have to wake up.

Becase I can't take the pain,

Of him loving Her and not me........

Now dry those eyes, and smile that special smile the smile he will never know, because you will meet someone far better than him, it's in the stars you know. so dry those tears and smile again, you will finally be set free, and like the butterfly you are, find another flower. It's life Lindsey, and he wasn't worth the time spent. good poem, thats one thing thats good about breaking hearts

Awww, this is so wonderfully written. And let me give you a piece of advice: if he doesn't like the new you then that's his loss. You shouldn't try to to go back to your old self to win him back. Trust me, that won't last long, just continue to be the new you and another guy will love you for it because you won't be putting yourself in harm or in danger. Keep up the good work, you are really talented!

A powerful and emotional poem. It's easy to feel the emotions here with the way you convey your imagery. I think you did a great job here. There are a few corrections that I noticed. I'll message you with the errors that I noticed.

You must always be true to yourself, above everything else. Change is a natural part of growth and those that can't change are left behind. You've captured the pain and the trauma very well here.
