Beautiful Mess

Beautiful Mess

A Poem by Lindsey

You're a simple girl.
Comfortable Clothes and hair tied back,
No makeup on.
You love the stars and the people you meet,
You're simply easy to please.
But underneath that smiling face,
I know the pain that you embrace.
I see the storms your have in your mind,
I find them in your deceiving eyes.
You hate yourself,
And you feel useless,
Oh if only you knew.
You're capable of anything as long as you try,
I promise you you're worth my while.
You may not see it but oh I do,
The wonderful woman that is you.
You may feel distressed and feel depressed,
But lovely you are my beautiful mess.
