Water Crashing

Water Crashing

A Poem by Linds

The waves crash over me,

My breath catches inside.

I can no longer breathe,

Forced to relive the past.

My heart starts to stop,

Failing to keep me alive.

I’m about to drown when I’m pulled out,

Out of this water that seems to consume me.

He’s beautiful,

Like a special seashell.

I’m snapped out of my daydream,

Going back to drowning.

Drowning in this hell,

We all call high school.

This is such a dark and powerful poem. It describes how people who are being bullied feel. Like they're drowning in the hate. It's amazing.

I like it! It actually took me a minute to realize what was going on. I do daydreams all the time in my stories.

Yes! I'm glad you like it! I worked hard on it. It took me twenty minutes to get it perfect.
