The Other Side of the PageA Poem by Linda MoonHold me In
the intimacy of your hands Caress
my spine Palmistry
revealing With
your life lines a ‘bay In
the ocean of knowledge I
will swim to you on the other side.
Glide
the textures of your fingertips Anticipating
the next word Soothing
more than a thousand lifetimes In
the ridges of joy and sorrow And
as you turn the pages I
will wait for you on the other side.
I
will warm your fingertips Like
a blanket of stars On
a clear mid summer’s night I
will dream with you Until
the golden dawn rises I
will lie next to you Dreaming
of you on the other side.
I
will plant you Like
the seedlings of spring And
water you with love Highlight
me in yellow Underline
me in blue With
each breath With
each turn In
all the seasons I
will bloom for you on the other side.
I
am a book I
am the words I
am your love Penned
in black ink Illustrated
in pure passion. © 2014 Linda MoonReviews

I know that I am not defined by my name, my gender, my relationships, my religion, my accomplishments or my past. I am... something more~ Those who know me will say .. more..Writing
