Wearing Love on Our SleeveA Poem by Linda J. Woffftransformation between friendship and loversSomething changed between you and me It was as if; we were no longer Just two people going out on dates Carry casualness on our sleeves We were more than that Our words took form; the words "you" and "me" They took shape into the words "us' and "we" We were complete; an entity in a forever plan Not the; "do you want to go here or there?" It was the: "shall we plan this or that? These words were part of the complete Transformation of "I like it" To the "I love it or it's awesome, lets do it!" There is this thing: togetherness is it's name Or is is the word; we use to describe "love" I love what we have become We wear it on our hearts: as if we are one Sharing our words of love as if they are our everyday clothing ©Linda J.
