Raven's Dream

Raven's Dream

A Poem by Linair
"

a tribute to E.A Poe

"

To the end we take our leave

The Raven’s word of lost reprieve

His blackened feathers, nobly torn

By fears of wraiths to be unborn

Lift the hex and curse the first

Uninvited proves the thirst

The madness of Usher, proof to see

The living is not what’s all to be

The cursed throne to be up heaved

The last of all to be Raven’s dream

About
I'm a dragon lover and an avid E.A. Poe fan. I guess I've always had a knack for enjoying the darker poetry but I still enjoy reading the lighter stuff. My favorite book series happens to be the Dresd.. more..
