The Trees

The Trees

A Poem by Linair
"

trees

"

 From where they stand

They see it all

The waves on the sand

In front of Babylon’s fall

Their kind at attention

So strong and resolute

Their hearts without tension

They are firm and astute

From time’s start to end

They have seen right and wrong

As our religions blend

The trees will move on

I'm a dragon lover and an avid E.A. Poe fan. I guess I've always had a knack for enjoying the darker poetry but I still enjoy reading the lighter stuff. My favorite book series happens to be the Dresd.. more..
