The feministic war

The feministic war

A Poem by TheSuffering
"

The women that no one seems to talk about

"
You see, everyone talks about how women should be treated
Almost everyone talks about how they should not be discriminated against
They talk about not wanting disgusting eyes on their body
They talk about how they don't want their dirty minds
imagining them for lust
They talk about higher payments
And these all ARE valid points
But you see, very few talk about those women that are locked up
You very rarely see them talk about those wearing the black
You barely see any uproar about the young girls being killed in the name of honor
You very rarely see, how they trade 13 year old girls's lives to pedophiles
You barely see their eyes tearing up with blood
Under that black prison garment

They say you should respect their culture
You fight for feminism, shouting so loud
and ignore the rights of those woman, who are not even allowed a voice
Because they use culture and religion as their weapon
To take that voice away

You don't hear the voice of Nasrin Sotoudeh
Screaming in pain in the prison of Iran
You don't hear about the brave women of Saudi
That get locked up and raped for criticizing THEIR stupid ways of interpreting Islam

You can't see the bruises under that bloody and black garment

You are not allowed to hear their screams when they are beheaded
Because in THEIR way of Islam, their virginity is all these young girls are worth

We need to fight for them
Wherever they might me

You cannot hear the screams of Fadime Shahindal, being murdered
By her family, for falling in love with someone her family did not choose

You cannot hear the voice of the women in South America, fighting for the right to decide over their own bodies

So, for you claiming to be feminists, living in freedom
In a country where the state at least sees rape as evil
A country that doesn't legally require you to have a male guardianship
A country that lets you work
A country that let's you be responsible for your own life

Think of those women that are screaming for help, dying for the rights that you have.

My criticism is not about the religion of Islam
But those who use it to preform evil acts

Religions should never get in the way of freedom of speech and individual rights
Either it be Islam, Christianity of Judaism

So, you feminists that DO have a voice

Come on now
Stand up and shout
With the voice of EVERY woman
that is not allowed to have a voice.
Stand up for woman's rights all over the world.
Stand up against forced Hijab
Stand up against Sharia laws
Stand up against the dictatorship in Saudi-Arabia
Stand up against the Islamic regime in Iran
Stand up against female genital mutilations in Africa and Kurdistan
Stand up for woman's rights to make their own choices

Remember, if you have a voice, you are free to shout.
Remember, if you can be heard, someone might come to help you

But if you are not allowed that voice
Your soul will turn black, just like that black garment.

Also, DO be proud of the rights that you DO already have.

I was one of these girls.
I fight alongside them.
I have a voice now!

Spot on. We'll trade with countries and totally ignore what they do behind the scenes.
Actually, we ignore the screams in Britain too.
Freedom is only on the paper not signed.
