Pull the Trigger

Pull the Trigger

A Poem by Lina Lotus

Life is a labyrinth
A million pieces form one me
I stand between each season
I don't need reason,
To squeeze the fruit between my lips

Take what i sow
Climatic blooms
Crowns all my senses
All my defenses... run through your fingers
I climb the fibers of the wind,
Intoxicated by the moon

Tattered sheets laced with mistakes
Twists round my thighs
That's all right, your skin feels warm
I feel revived!

yes, there are so many parts to each of us...we are different seasons...we are blooms, we are thorns, our defenses rise when we have been hurt in the past, but in time we let another in...we do get revived and we know our heart is still alive.
very smooth writing here, i like the in-rhyme you use...and generally , though i am not a big rhyme fan unless it feels natural...yours does.

Very nice use of words.
"Tattered sheets laced with mistakes
Twists round my thighs
That's alright, your skin feels warm
I feel revived! "
I liked the above lines. A honest tale with a proper ending. Thank you for sharing the excellent poetry.
