Another sinner

Another sinner

A Poem by Lina Lotus

Sitting in church
Listening to Mc Dreamy preach
What's wrong with me?
Wondering if he's single
I swear he's preaching only to me!
Thinking about you
Then about Henry Cavill
My soul will catch on fire...
If i don't cease these thoughts
Wondering what you're wearing
Can't focus on anything now
Waiting for the sun
Praying for new skies
Damn
I think i'll just go meet with you
I've no sins, yet
To confess

The mind and the imagination can be dangerous.
"I think i'll just go meet with you
I've no sins, yet
To confess "
I liked the above lines and when temptation overtake us. We will find trouble. Thank you Lina for sharing the amazing poetry and thoughts.

Nice poem, really nice. Rhyming might make it even better.

love that "I've no sins yet/ To confess"

i really like how we voyeuristically get to look into her thoughts, as she sits there daydreaming about the priest...usually we are daydreaming about what we will do away from the church...and this poem just made me flinch almost...that twilight zone thing...i just came back from a friend's house...he and his wife and i watched "Spotlight" odd coincidence although this poem is not the same subject...but....mmmm

so well written...i felt like i was reading a diary...too real...like i should close the book up...
