Mistake

A Story by Lindsay Ann
"

Most of you don't know this, but most of my stories are based on dreams I've had.

"
The female walked down the hallway of the hospital heading towards the room " 111 ".
Her hands clamped her to her chest, folded together her head swiveled from left to right looking at her surroundings. She reached the room half way down the hallway, a male sprung out. He turned to look at her, an inhuman grin plastered on his half eaten lips.
The male was nude from the waste up, the left side of his torso having no flesh. His muscles showing, the grotesque wound moved up to his face as well.

She clamped her hand over her mouth, to muffle the horrified gasp that threatened to escape. She pressed his forearm to his stomach bending at the waist, a shriek of pain escaped from his lips..Before he choked a loud gagging noise echoed through out the hallway. The girl tried to reach out to him not sure what to do in this situation, she decided to draw back pressing herself against the wall.

The male dropped to his knees within a split second, both palms pressed firmly to the ground. He gripped his nails digging into the tile, another choking noise...another gagging noise. He heaved his back arching like a frightened cat, then it happened all within a few seconds. The male's intestines spewed from his mouth, followed by each and every other organ.

She cried out in terror, she shook her head violently and whispered to herself.
" This is a dream...this is impossible.. "
A lady came out from the same room, screaming her left hand held to the side of her face. She let her hand fall revealing what seemed to be the same...disease as the male had. Only this time you could see the flesh being eaten away, yet nothing was in sight on her face. The girl drew back against the wall more, her body now shaking violently.
She cried out " Oh god! This can't be happening! " the lady dropped to her knees, reacting the same way as the male had only seconds before.

The girl took off down the hallway, the heaving and gagging echoing through out the hallway. She reached the room " 111 " she pressed the palm of her right hand to the door, swinging it open. There he laid, an oxygen mask held to his face. She brought her right hand to her chest, weeping softly..  The males head slowly turned to face her, his mahogany eyes piercing into hers. The only emotion she could see...feel was the sheer hate he now had for her. She stumbled back a bit, missing the way he used to look at her...Soft eyes, fill with nothing but tender love.

She gasped lightly as something grabbed the back of her flannel over shirt. She was pulled back violently her hands and legs out stretched in front of her,  a scream threatened to escape her lips. She clamped down on her lip a few drops of blood trickling down her chin. Once she came to a halt, it slid invfront of her...well rather " she "  moved in front of her. A shadow of a woman stood there, nothing showed but those ice blue eyes. The kind that will haunt your dreams forever, no pupils...no white.

The girl blinked trying to make the figure go away. Nothing worked she still stood there, the girl could feel the nasty grin that was placed on her face though she could not see it. The figure drew closer, she tried to recede back but only hit a wall. By this time the girl was shaking, sweat threatening to drop from her forehead. She managed to speak, though stuttering.  " W-what d-d-d-do you w-want from..m-me? "

A small sound came from the figure, what seemed to be a mocking laugh.
She said nothing, but moved to the side revealing the room that the male laid in.
The girl shook her head trying not to remember why he was there, she sobbed more.
The figured moved behind her now, the girl could feel the pressure of its hands on her shoulders. Gripping..claws digging in the flesh of there.

The figure leaned into her ear and whispered a few simple words.
" It's your fault he's dying... " Another mocking laugh, this time louder and stronger.
The girl dropped to her knees, holding her face in her hands.
A low hissing noise was heard...then nothing.
