Crimson Desire.

Crimson Desire.

A Poem by Lindsay Ann

The weight on your shoulders will never budge.

The lock that is holding your mind shut, will never break.

The one riddle I have yet to figure out.

The missing piece of the puzzle I am so desperately trying to finish.

Years have past and the combination has still not been revealed.

I strive to figure you out, to have the answer to the riddle.

The missing piece of the puzzle and the code to break that lock.

You're unpredictable daring and unique.

I've fought with you for years

Trying to figure out why you do what you do.

The guardian of all you care for.

The savior the knight in shining armor.

Yet no one shows you any hospitality in return.

You intelligence, desires and being

Your art of seduction.

Spark my interest, with everything you say.

While in deep conversation, I crave for more.

With the little bits and pieces you have shown me.

I can some what understand.

Yet you leave the most important desires out.

You feel your self slipping, so you grasp on to the people you care for.

You try and fix their problems, so you feel as if you have purpose.

I know you deserve better more spectacular things.

I know you do as well, you desire for someone to love.

For someone to give you that love in return.

Though you will not let me break the lock.

Find that puzzle piece, or finish the riddle.

I will always be here,

When you finally can't take any more weight.

I will be the one to help you this time around.

I will no longer stand by and watch you take so much onto yourself.

My Crimson Desire.

I will be here.

Lin Lin, do you know how much money I'm saving not having to go to therapy, because of poems like these? This was wonderful. I love it when someone writes something that you've been feeling yourself for a long time. It always helps to know that you are not alone in your thoughts.

Thank you for this, it was great!
