A Poem by Lindsay Ann

I can't hear your cries, I can't see your smile, I can't feel your grip on my fingers.

Though I will never watch you grow up, see you off to your first day or school.
Never see you walk that stage on your graduation date,
Never see you stand at the alter waiting for your wife to walk down the isle.
I will never see the grandchildren you might have given me.
I will never know you or will never know what you could have become.
Even so, I will always love you...

My son, my first my everything you are the only boy who has my heart..
Even though you are not here with me.
I hope that one day if there is some kind of force out there, that they will give me a second chance...
Not take you away from me before I even heard your cry before I saw that beautiful first smile of yours.

I can't hear your cries, see your smile or feel your grip..
Though I never knew you, I will always love you.
You will always be in my heart, my child.

This is beautiful. A beautiful tribute to what was and what may have been. I'm sorry for your loss, and hope you the best for the future.
