The Female BluebeardA Poem by LinBinA poem based on actual events.....sadly!!!......xxx
Amid the green hills of Indiana,
there lived a woman by the name of Belle she was outwardly a respectable widow but she carried with her the secret of hell On a cool, crisp April evening In the year of 1908 She left this world abruptly to meet the furnace of her fate Murdered by a farm-hand, who calmly set her home ablaze, she could not escape the burning inferno or see through the dark, thick smoky haze Why had he done it? the people cried and soon the answer to this question was found for one hundred dead men. women and children were found buried in Belles farmyard ground Like a female Bluebeard she'd enticed lonely men her way and once she'd taken from them all they had they never saw another day Women and Children were not spared her axe she would poison them or give them the chop she then stole from them money and jewels and then happily went into town to shop Widow Belle Gunnes was the devil in disguise a cold and calculating beast and had she not met a firey end the killings may never have ceased........................ © 2014 LinBinReviews
