WaitingA Poem by RivI'm waiting for the next note to come out. To come scratching at my door. To tell me everything's done. And that I won't have to worry anymore. I couldn't tell you when the last time was, When I had a dream about you. Each and every time, It's left with something empty. A castle far in the distance, That somehow came into my control. Where were you even then, When I kidnapped the princess from the other kingdom. Water flows so delicately, And I'm trying to keep from drowning. I'm going to keep it to myself, Waiting for that next one to come out.
