Meat

Meat

A Poem by Riv

Savory,
Sweet,
Callous,
Clean,
Spicy,
Tender.
Then repeat.
One,
or two.
Three,
or four.
Who will it be,
to win.
Judging again.
There,
Now,
Never,
Later,
Don't forget,
that dish.
Maybe next time.

Riv
I'm not sure how well this turned out. It's a poem about chopped. Or at least inspired by the cooking show.

I see more than meat
words are like that

Out to be dished
once tweaked

Interesting write that leaves me more wondering. I expect it may be since I do not watch the show.

At first I thought I had materialized in an Arby's commercial. "We have the MEATS!" Is Chopped the show where four chefs have to make an appetizer, entrée and dessert, all while using really off-beat ingredients? I was a cook that worked his way up to executive chef of a hotel in Pittsburgh, so that show is really appetizing for my viewing pleasure (and it makes me hungry...sometimes a quick run to Mickey D's cures that!) Very nicely done, I like the format, the presentation. Good job. take care...dan
