Can't be my Selfish natureA Poem by RivI'm looking out to the gray sky, Hoping that it rains. The rain could fill me, Fill me with so many thoughts. Could it be my thoughts, A round a bout. When gathered into one form, But not quiet sure where to put them. So turn on the tv, Turn up the music. Stare at the unproductive pages, Of a story yet written. Thoughts of other people, Filling up my head. Thoughts of what could be, Turning me around. Unleash the unknown, Make myself known. Nothing could even compare, To a lost train of thought. Despite all our strifes, We grow up anyways. So I sit here and wonder still, What am I doing here.
